Hand Crafted Organic Soaps
Dancing Bare Soap is a meticulously hand made, organic product, solely produced in the magnificent Berkshire hills of MA with no two soap bars being identical. These exquisite soaps are made using the cold process method to make sure that the saponification process is completely complete. Our soaps are cured for six to eight weeks in order to achieve a harder bar which will last longer, lather better and deliver a finer product feel overall. To us, fine wine, cheese, craft beer, often come to mind.
Using only the purest essential oils and mountain spring water, Dancing Bare contains only select organic, local and seasonal herbs and florals. We forage for, or cultivate, our very own herbs and plants, or acquire them from strictly organic growers who are located as close to home as possible. We specifically use fair traded, sustainable and unrefined Cocoa and Shea Butters` from Women`s cooperatives in West Africa. The essential oils used are the finest certified organic ones available for use in a soap product.
Through the soap making process we discovered that using herbal infusions as an ingredient intensifies each soaps aromatic and soothing qualities. By placing herbs in fine spring water to make infusions of different intensities we allow each one to steep outdoors under the sun, or in full moonlight, or even through a lightening storm. Depending on whether we want a soap with more stimulating or activating qualities, or one that encourages introspection is the decider as to when, where and how each infusion is made.
